First-class olive oil, obtained directly from olives solely by mechanical means, organic quality. Our organic olive oil preserves the authentic taste of our high-quality olives thanks to the gentle, traditional harvesting and the care taken throughout the entire production process.
Organic olives represent particularly responsible agriculture, adhering to the strict guidelines of the EU Organic Regulation. They are cultivated without synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or mineral fertilizers; instead, natural fertilization methods are used to maintain soil fertility and promote biodiversity. The consistent avoidance of genetic engineering, comprehensive controls, verifiable residue-free status, and gentle, environmentally conscious processing underscore the high quality and trustworthiness of the organic label.
Award-winning extra virgin olive oil – direct from the producer in Umbria
BUTTINALE 73 stands for outstanding extra virgin olive oil from Umbria – the “green heart of Italy.” As a family-run business, we combine over 50 years of experience in olive cultivation with state-of-the-art technology in our own oil mill, the Frantoio del Trasimeno in Paciano. Here, cold pressing is done oxygen-free at 20–24 °C – gently, sustainably, and with an uncompromising focus on quality.
Our olive oils are made exclusively from 100% Italian olives and have been awarded by the best taste experts: 1× Platinum and 7× Gold at the Masters of Olive Oil in Monte Carlo 2025, as well as DLG Gold for quality. Whether Manufaktur, BIO, D.O.P. or NO. 73 – each oil bears the signature of our passion for the finest olive oil.
